PROJECT SUMMARY
This private house-flip project took place over two and a half years on nights and weekends in the home I lived in and included market analysis and property Identification, financing, construction development, marketing and sale.
This was a private investment that I took on in 2014. The strategy was to purchase a dilapidated property in an up and coming neighborhood. I chose this property because it had no major issues, and would only need cosmetic improvement to improve its market value. The major improvements that took place was to remodel kitchen, bathroom, installation of a backyard office and storage unit, and a cosmetic facelift through updated landscaping, painting and trim throughout the property.
During this period I also operated and worked for a few other companies. This left me working many late evenings and most of the weekends over two years. Although the investment was lucrative there were substantial sacrifices made along the way.
