We offer concerts, classes and events for the local community. We practice permaculture and are learning to live together in harmony. Come stay for a couple of weeks with us. Waipio gardens is a remote retreat and event venue in the Waipio Valley on the Big Island of Hawaii.

Responsibilities:

  • Design expansion of the retreat center to add 10 more beds

  • Manage construction teams to implement project

  • Completion of the building of three new buildings

  • Adding 10 new beds and increasing the revenue for the building

Compassionate Caregiver

Lavender Hills, Redding, CA

Firm Description:

Lavender Hills is an assisted living facility in Redding California. Lavendar Hills is for people who need help with daily care, but not as much help as a nursing home provides. This facility has 25 full time residents who need varrying levels of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Care for 25 residents

  • Resident care - changing diapers, showering, household assistance

Pacific Pathways is a residential program for young adults with a primary mental health diagnosis who may also have challenges with substance use. Pacific Pathways focuses on recovery from mental and emotional health challenges using evidence-based Dialectic Behavioral Therapies and psychiatric support. In their free time residents will enjoy immersive experiential, educational, and wellness activities located in the beautiful Bay Area.

Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Marketing - Development of all the go-to-market strategy, employee hiring and management, design-development of marketing collaterals, design and implement S&M processes, scripts and templates, and determining the KPI reporting & control systems

  • Tenant Improvements - Design and construction ok our residential and office environments.

  • Business Development - Specialized startup activities

Accomplishments:

  • Design and manage a complex high-quality touch pipeline to referral sources for clients. Conduct an 8 stage communication plan. over 10,000 unique touches in the first three months including direct calls, mailers, gifts & swag, and virtual tours.

  • Active pipeline of 2,200 referral sources, 120 developed into active referral sources producing dozens of clients in our sales pipeline, and a consistant client flow.

iUNU is an industrial computer vision and SaaS company. The company’s product, LUNA, connects greenhouse facilities, their people and the plants they grow through a single interface, turning commercial greenhouses into precise, predictable, demand-based manufacturers.

Responsibilities:

  • Corporate development: Develop sales and marketing departments. Develop assets and libraries.

  • General management: Managing staff. Sales and marketing management.

Accomplishments:

  • Because of my broad early-stage business skillsets I was able to build along side the CMO the business processes, workflows, organization structure, job descriptions, market research, customer persona’s and journeys, sales and marketing collaterals trade show collaterals, sales scripts, training materials and more.

  • We also helped extensively on the Series A financial raise, as well as the series B financial positioning and packaging. We completed a multiyear Sales and Marketing strategy and performa.

Firm Description:

Home Delivery Logistics, Inc. (HDL) is a leading home delivery management company specializing in the home delivery of large consumer products: furniture, appliances, electronics, and other items that require specialized handling.  

Responsibilities

  • Develop the position of the Regional Manager. Create standard operating procedures. Create monitoring, controlling and reporting processes.

  • Regional management: Manage three regional HDL branches in Fremont, Livermore and Tracy with 10 employees. Staffing, hiring, monitoring, controlling, onsite management when needed, and reporting.

  • Account management: Work directly with executive management at Ashley Homegoods, Mancini Sleepworld and LazyBoy through monthly reporting, and general account management.

  • Contractor/fleet management: Management of 50+ sub contractors with 150+ truck fleet. Coaching, negotiation, and assisting these small businesses in growing.

Accomplishments

  • New reporting and incentive program: Design and produce Key Performance Indicator report to for improved monitoring and controlling, and an incentive program for contractors to improve target areas.

  • Corporate development: Create an updated business model for both the account and corporate level of HDL. Hire and train staff to implement the new model, and control it during the implementation period.

  •  Founder of Lucille’s List: A senior Service company that helps seniors find equitable housing. Hired two staff. Product Management.

  • Acquired and managed four business consulting engagements over a six month period of time.

Kier & Wright has provided comprehensive development, civil engineering and land surveying services to both public and private sector clients since 1972.

Responsibilities:

  • Project management: manage the entitlement process for major Bay Area developments. Manage teams of clients, architects, engineers and developers. Work with local government agencies.

  • Corporate Development: Design and implement Project Administration Department. Hire and manage 4 Project Administrators. Design job descriptions and work flow for Project Administrators.

Accomplishments:

  • Design and initiate Project Administration Department: develop and implement a new department that hired a new class of worker called Project Administrators to assist Project Managers across the company.

  • Participate in development of over 5MM square feet of commercial developments in the Bay Area, including the Facebook Campus, Tesla Microprocessing Facility, and Amazon warehousing.

Camp Navarro is a Northern Californian Recreational Resort located on 180 acres near Mendocino. This facility has a lodge, 25 cabins and overnight accommodations for over 300 people. This resort hosts corporate and private events, and boasts a commercial restaurant and a coffee house. 

 Key Responsibilities:

  •  Corporate financial planning, controlling and reporting

  • Business management, strategy and development

  • Corporate Sales and Client Relations for companies like Google, Y-Combinator, LinkedIn

  • Managed special projects like converting water system to municipal water system, develop branding and marketing campaigns, manage onsite property development schedule

  • Increased sales revenue 1,600% from $50,000 in 2012 to over $2.5MM in 2015

  • Capitalized and developed the asset from $1.9MM in value to over $10MM valuation in three years

Christopher has served over 200 hours with Glide, finding deep connection and inspiration in discovering stories in the staff, volunteers and clients that Glide serves.

Glide can serve up to 2,400 meals per day to our community. Volunteers assist with everything from serving food, to bussing tables, to handing out silverware and condiments. Be prepared to roll up your sleeves, and make some beautiful human connections!
