PROJECT SUMMARY

This was my first opportunity to work Bob Kendrick. Bob is a former investment banker based in San Francisco who had attended my fathers church for a number of years.

Bob was always managing a wide array of projects, and in addition to commercial endeavors Bob was developing a bed and breakfast on Vashon Island which would double as his family compound during vacations.

I lived onsite for two consecutive summers building out three main structures on the property, and many outlying amenities. I was mostly alone during these summers, except for when the Kendrick family would come up to vacation.

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE

  • Updates to the main house including kitchen, two new bathrooms and cosmetics.

  • Complete renovation of the outlying cabin including kitchen, bathroom and cosmetics.

  • Complete remodel to third home on adjacent property including two new bathrooms, kitchen and cosmetics.

  • Upgrades to the grounds including a new pond, trail systems, fire pits, soft/hard scaping, decking

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  •  Oversee property development of an offshore Bed and breakfast in Washington

  • Design and build property improvements

Bob Kendrick

Bob helped shape me during my young adulthood into a man. He had a broad range of skills and knowledge and under his tutelage I went from conceiving of myself as a tradesman to being a successful entrepreneur.

He took a lot of personal time during these summers to talk daily with me about issues I was experiencing, talk me through past issues, and help set up my paradigm for success. 

This was also when Bob first introduced me to success literature. I developed a tenacious desire for self mastery and competency. I would spend my mornings and evenings during these summers reciting declarations, writing mission statements, and in meditation about the type of life I wanted to live. I have many reasons to be thankful for this period of my life.
